    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, but the losses are two ways, and so are the gains. Brexiter Labour voters can believe that's what he's in favour of, while Remainer Labour voters can believe he wants a Deal or a Referendum, whichever is their preference. The same applies to the don't knows who turn out. His gamble is...

Making Corbyn an even greater genius. He's been sitting on the non-committal two sides fence for three years so can't even be accused of lying. .

    What's happening at 50 Cycles?

While I know you might not mean it, it's almost insulting to say we don't know the full circumstances. Many of us, like me, have known the full circumstances around 50cycles for over 13 years. We know that for the odd good experience, and I've had two good ones myself long ago, there's many...

Good for him, he didn't used to wear a cycle helmet until the nanny state brigade nagged him about it. He doesn't need to be careful, you know the saying, the Devil looks after his own. .

Thanks for the update Danidl, I'm rather out of date on the situation there it seems. I remember the overbuilding phase and also when London Irish friends were buying homes there, but hadn't seen anything about the latter stages in the media here. .

No, it's about quality and potential. Obviously collabaoration with the EU is far better for the masses in both respects than with the UK. But not for the already wealthy who want to be more so. .

I understand you have plenty of unoccupied houses over there. Would you like our 320,000 homeless people, many of whom might like to remain in the EU? .

You really do have a knack for getting things very wrong! A good two hours too early in this case. Unlike most my age I'm late to bed, have a long time in bed and get up when the world becomes civilised again, long after you lot have disappeared into your usual daily worlds. And its been that...

    Thumb Throttle to Twist

Strictly speaking all throttles on pedelecs manufactured in the last couple of years are illegal, not that anyone takes any notice of that. Hence the pedelec name, power only regulated through the pedalling. Changing from one to another isn't particularly difficult for anyone handy with bike...

    Thumb Throttle to Twist

I did have lever shifters which I hate, but swapped them out in favour of twistshift. .

    Thumb Throttle to Twist

Never had a problem with brake levers or even bell, as shown below, but I agree that a twistgrip throttle is best paired with twistgrip gear shifting on a single chainwheel bike. Thumb shifters don't mix with twistgrips.

Only a very soft one, like being in EFTA like Norway, which is hardly Brexit at all. He very much doesn't want an ERG No Deal exit. .

    Thumb Throttle to Twist

I've always used half width throttles/gear changers which don't suffer that problem, so I've never broken one. They are also easier to hold stable on bumpy roads. Here's one pair of mine, throttle left and gear change right:

    electric scooter/skateboard laws

The Devon and Cornwall police have large tyred Segways for use on the beaches, but at carnival time they take them onto the local roads, despite them being completely illegal then. When it comes to the crunch coppers are just like us really. :) .
