    Brexit, for once some facts.

Blair and co would still have lost, both this time and in 2017. As I pointed out very long ago in this thread, it was widely agreed that after the original SNP win to dominate Scottish seats, it would be very difficult for Labour ever to return to power in Westminster if the SNP stayed in...

But all the polls have been saying for some while that Remainers lead by 8%. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That's not true. Add up Labour, LibDem, and SNP votes and you'll see they had a clear large majority. The better system of proportional representation would have brought a very different outcome. .

Despite the majority being against a Tory government Brexit. Add up Labour, LibDem, and SNP votes and you'll see they had a clear large majority. The better system of proportional representation would have brought a very different outcome. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Strange that in my constituency it's very different. We switched our Tory held always marginal seat into a massive 6000 majority Corbyn led Labour win last time, and that with a new untried candidate. And this time we've repeated that 6000 majority over the Tories, despite any Corbyn effect...

What odd judgment you have. That's exactly what Labour was promising. The Tories won't do it, they've had nine years in which they only reduced that investment. .

Better have a referendum on whether we should have another election. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That's the point, they haven't. Once again the chumps have believed the Tory and right wing media lies, like slashing waiting times for ops, 50,000 extra nurses and many more doctors. They never seem to learn, so there's no reason they'll learn Corbyn is no good if that's true. This election...

In the morning I think we'll still see that London is mainly Labour, so I don't see an especially busy time for our undertakers. .

Seeing the predictions for the main Brexit voting areas of the Midlands and North, that's probably largely true. .

But what can? In five years time they will still tell us that they didn't stands a chance with the mess that Labour left the economy in. And our dumb electorate will again fall for this among other lies, just as they've done today! .

Hub or Mid Drive? Any views?

Both great bikes, but the hub motor for me. But after six responses I can't believe no-one has noticed the top photo caption is wrong! The top model is the mid motor, not also a hub motor. :) .

Sadly that never had any. It wouldn't surprise me if some of them didn't know they were bicycle wheels. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Voting at my local go-ahead primary school, I noticed a new arena shaped seating area in one of the three playgrounds. What was unusual was the surrounding fencing, made up from large numbers of bicycle wheels attached rim edge to rim edge. I'm afraid none of them cycle to school though. .

That's very much like me, no matter what I wear I always look like sack of spuds and my father was constantly nagging about one aspect or other of my appearance. One day it culminated in a huge row in a nearby street as we set out on a family outing when I was 13 and I finally wouldn't...

They already want us to be compelled to use cyclepaths where they are provided. Hopefully that will not happen, but it has in some countries. .

I haven't said that riding on the pavement is unconditionally ok. Without knowing how you ride on or off pavements I cannot offer that facility, since too many UK cyclists seem to think 20 mph or more on pavements is ok. And the attitude you are displaying here makes me suspect you wouldn't...
