    Brexit, for once some facts.

At home, we mostly consume coffee packed under Italian brands. Wonder how much of the 560,000 tonnes imported to Italy is then exported from Italy?

    Am I too sensitive

No - I was riding perfectly legally the RIGHT way. :-)

    Am I too sensitive

Today's disaffection with car drivers... On leaving work, I have to cycle a short way up a single-lane, one way road which has cars parked on both sides - many end-on to kerb. This much is legal. Due to the narrowness, the curve, and the likelihood of people reversing out of their spaces...

A modern engineer building classic bicycle frames – in pictures

In another place (not bike-related), I so often fail to post something of potential interest - and then see someone else did. It reassures that my judgement of what is of interest isn't totally off-beam. :-)

    What a good feeling...

I'd like the opportunity! The nearest real snow was probably towards the Preselis. The police had to start booking (or threatening to do so) as so many people drove up there and were blocking the road. But down here, snow is pretty rare. Two or three lots of heavy hail here today - that's...

Oh Dear my Flap has come off!

With the advantage in many circumstances that it can be washed off. Whereas some of the other suggested lubricants tend to stay forever and make it easier for the thing to come apart again. Not sure that is feasible here - intentionally or just due to ordinary use.

Got one of those face thingies - certainly arrived quickly. Will be using it tomorrow, I think.

    What a good feeling...

Just to add - managed to cycle all five days this week. Tuesday was a bit wet. :-( But the rest were nothing worse than cold. Definitely better than driving.

Is this the begining of the rise of the Machines?

Someone who works in my office got one at Christmas. Spent a while over the next couple of days remotely making it play music to amuse his young son. Impressed by its ability to find and play any music he wants. Don't think he has mentioned it since. I see little to no reason to get anything...

Does that count as two of their five-a-day?

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Little people have ended up in gaol for mis-spending public funds. [Not suggesting for one moment that NF is a "big" person in any positive sense.]

    Charging a Coyote Connect battery

Thanks for the suggestions. All of those are listed with an end of January or later delivery. I had found many apparently suitable chargers but at much higher price - so when you suggested about £10 I was hopeful.

    Charging a Coyote Connect battery

Problem is ignorance! I found specific chargers for this bike at about £26 - which would be cheap for long term use. But I was unaware of £10 chargers. Have you got a link to a suitable product that doesn't have to come all the way from China? We'd like to try it out asap.

    Charging a Coyote Connect battery

Partner has been given (sort-of) a Coyote Connect folder - two/three years old. Looks to be in excellent condition. The problem is that the owner cannot locate the charger. If we decide to keep it, no problem, we buy a charger, of which there are several readily available. Trouble is two-fold...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Strictly on the NHS front, there is a huge amount of money going to companies that are gouging us. One example, a medicine that around ten years ago cost £12 for 28 tablets. Has increased to around £258 for exactly the same product. When a better quality product is available in Greece for less...

    What a good feeling...

Got a pair of sealskinz gloves on special offer. They feel nice, and are reasonably warm. Enough for my current hand needs. :-) It is face/head that have been coldest so far. Will follow up suggestions, thanks.

    What a good feeling...

Town - but the route I chose today only really has significant traffic for one bit in the middle. There is another obvious route on a cycle path alongside what is probably the busiest road. And, just in case anyone thinks otherwise, my commute is pretty short!
