Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

If you have arced the bms then you may have damaged it, when checking the 14 cell group voltages one should have disconnected the BMS sense wire connector to measure the cell readings safely then you can't arc the bms pcb. Disconnect the multiwire sense connector and measure the 14 cell...

Replace the gear cassette on an e-Bike?

Derailleurs have a max size largest sprocket size it will take, it might be beyond it's capability. If so one will have to fit a road link to extend the capability, first of all though check the derailleur specs for the largest sprocket it can handle.

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

One can't damage cells simpy by opening a pack open, a short would have to occur to cause damage. Use a new battery for your meter to make sure erroneous readings aren't measured. 52.2v will be the pack reading then and equates to an average of 3.72v per cell group which is about 50%. 58.3v...

Cuts out under load, 52v battery shows 57v fully charged.

Looking at the battery can you see any writing on the pink cells ? If so take pic and show us then we might be able to cypher which cells and specs are used, they look like Samsung pink cells maybe. The issue will likely lie with the cells and whether they can supply the current. In post six...

Can I swap battery from my old bike into new bike (both are 36v lithium)?

On the axle before the clutch there is hex nut and bearing, I wonder if those need removing so the clutch and motor come away.

Battery Cover for riding in Rain?

No likely not, he only came on to slag Wisper off and probably was trolling all the forums by the sounds of it to give them very negative feed back.

    Bike Locks

One is better then none, just boils down to how many to carry. I use two so that a wheel doesn't go walkabout.

Help! Best kit for hilly area for 16 stone and incredibly weak leg muscles

Cwah and many others over on ES have cooked the akm100 by over volting and using higher current.

Battery Cover for riding in Rain?

Yes if you have to ride in the rain then fine but the bike needs a cover if being left out for hours on end. We don't see much of him on the forum now, Cwah mostly kept his bikes outside because as storage for him was poor. He left a bike outside with a newish Dolphin case battery, it filled...

    Bike Locks

All locks can be removed in one way or another just depends on the lengths someone goes to and where/how the bike is locked. A nice bike locked in the same place regularly for long spells will eventually attract attention. Use two locks, one for each wheel as a deterrent, I use one D lock to...

Cassette or freewheel kit or ?

The two aren't compatible one the freewheel uses a screw thead and the other freehub/cassette uses splines with one as a smaller keyway to slide on the freehub body and is tightened with threaded lock ring. The latter is the stronger and easier to fit and remove. Yes if you but freehub/cassette...

    Charging pack to 41V experiment

The simple answer would be for all future generic BMS to be programmed so they balance at 4.1v per cell group to extend the life of the cells/battery. The throw away world can't go on for ever with resources being used up. My 29E's batteries both 6 years old and only 3 or 4 digits difference...

    Husqvarna Chainsaw Battery

The charger says it is for lithium so yes should charge a 36v battery, I assume the charger as it has 12v input is a PSU unit and has a step up circuit inside for 36v. The connector is for your current battery so leave it as is, the new bike will come with a charger to suit it so use that for...

    Help! Battery\controller help

It may have just been a bad fuse contact. At least it was nothing major.

    Spokes

It will be fine, shame they didn't use a 1x build for a straight nipple entry. Pluck each spoke to check they sound right, one should hear a nice taut ping any that have a low dull twang may need tightening.

Help! Upstart momentum electric controller fried?

You said this above so I thought you had a throttle, should have termed it a little different to avoid confusion.

    Help! Battery\controller help

It is quite simple first check the battery voltage at the discharge port, as I mentioned in #2 this will tell you if the internal fuse is blown.

I see now the charger utilises a step up charger.
