If you want to go fast and you want to go for 12 hours, you'll need more than one battery. The 17Ah battery would do around 40 miles if you turned up the speed to 20 mph and still pedalled quite hard. How many miles do you do in a 12 hour shift?

E22 on carrera vulvan electric bike

E22 is battery overheating - nothing to do with any fall. Most likely a faulty sensor.

There is no need to touch anything on the forks. Just ride the bike as they are. in the winter, don't leave the salty water on the chrome parts because it'll make them go rusty.

How will they know what the speed is? It'll show 10mph at a true 15 mph and cut off power when the display shows 15 mph.

    Advice for 20" hubs.

Always switch the charger on before connecting to the battery. The spark most likely blew the fuse in the charger, which is an easy fix.

If you have the right knowhow and equipment, you can change the assist speed by software of just about any electric bike, including bikes with systems from Bosch, Shimano, Yamaha, Bafang, Wisper, Gocycle, etc. The question is what "under the rider's control" means. A simple on/off button is...

further investigation of battery cutting out before set LVC

Could be heat. If you had about 4v drop at full power with a 52V battery, that's 200W of heat to dissipate, which is quite a lot, especially as the inner cells are surrounded by other hot cells, so no chance of losing their heat. If you ran at high power for a long time, like you do on a...

Is there a pedelec that gives me both more comfort and top line speed?

If you want speed comfort and efficiency, it's probably best to build your own using an older full susp bike that has a large enough triangle like GT or Rocky Mountain. Change the tyres to something like 1 1/2". You should be able to achieve a target weight of around 18kg with a 48v hub-motor...

He's already determined that he has a blown mosfet in the controller. His bike is different to most in that his LED panel converts the PAS signal into a throttle signal, which means that some of your procedure is not valid.

    Help! Replacement electronic controller required

Controllers with the flat connector for the halls aren't that common, and even if you did find one, many of the other connectors wouldn't match. Look back at post #15. I still stand by that advice and recommend it as the best option. Apart from installing the new PAS and speed sensor, you have...

Bosch is too clever for that. There software doesn't allow to run without a speed pulse, neither will it allow to run with the speed pulse in proportion to the motor speed.

You can use pin-strip to charge your cell. You break off two pins, solder the wires from the charger, make sure you know which way round the plus is, then insert the pins into the correct pair of holes in the multipin connector that goes to the cells...

Cut the connector off and solder the wires directly. You'll never need to disconnect it, and even if you did, it's quicker to cut the wires than pull those connectors apart. The best connector is no connector if you want a reliable ebike. I would never leave exposed connectors on any ebike...

Yes, but Brexit party has risen substantially since the last poll a week ago. His party has become more popular every day since it started. It's the same with Tommy Robinson's news channel, which increases its membership by at least 3.5% every week since it started.
