    Woosh Faro Review

In series would be a recipe for disaster , any twin battery set up needs to be in parallel.

Which first ebike, Voodoo Bizango or Cube Reaction Hybrid ?????

They are 2 bliss ready hence the play in the name. The Black belt center ridge is the added P protection, not had one yet with my TL set up.

Which first ebike, Voodoo Bizango or Cube Reaction Hybrid ?????

For jaunts on trails but with mainly road use select a tyre that can do both, a tyre with a smooth centre strip and treaded outers for grip on the rougher stuff. A tyre like this one for best of both worlds...

    Change Brushed motor to Brushless

Controller is in the compartment underneath the battery. It works then it will likely continue to do so, if you want a quieter hub then you need a sensored/sinewave hub and controller kit.

    Raleigh Velo display

Battery is knackered if it only charges to 40v, a good battery will be about 41.4/41.5v minimum, nothing wrong with the Velo's display. Even a knackered battery that charges to 42v isn't an indication of it's well being, the tell tale is put a load on it and if it collapses then it's had it...

    Controller or battery issue

You can't use item #3 , the Bafang cable extender isn't compatible with the Julet WP systems, the connectors are Higo WP and all though they will mate and fit Julet the pin outs wired different. Any item (with the exception of a Bafang hub motor)with Bafang or Higo named in the description will...

Which first ebike, Voodoo Bizango or Cube Reaction Hybrid ?????

For simple trails a hybrid with ability to fit up to 50mm tyres is more then good enough, even for my off road rough rides I use 42mm 700c tyres. I'm the same age as you Lee. Cater for the riding you mainly choose, rather then the odd trip you may make, look at a CX bike or Gravel type with a...

    Replacement 36V 16AH LiFePO4 batteries?

Yes the charger is fine to use if the charge plug/connector is the same. Lion 36v is the nominal charge it's max charge is 42v, the charger will be for 36v though will indicate on the label it will have a 42v max charge voltage.

    Change Brushed motor to Brushless

A hub motor change to brushless means not only a new hub but also controller kit with lcd, if you have a three wire PAS then that should work. Brushless is three phase, brushed is two phase. Bike pics ?

general charging + solar panel on a converted E bike (how?)

One lithium 36v battery would have been better, more capacity, range and power output.

One lock ring is enough, Loctite it and torque it up.

    Servicing a Cube Kathmandu

SW maintains his Bosch drive but that is just simply regrease and may be light internal clean not much else you can do. Diagnostics need a dealer to plug it in and then they can't do much except a software upgrade otherwise it is swap and exchange. All other mechanical servicing you can do your...

Looking to convert to electric but need some help please

Fitting a T/A may be easier on the opposite side to the hub cable entry if you really want to go OTT fit one each side then you could dispense with the A/R washers. Don't use the Jubilee clip type arrangement a direct fixing via a tapped hole and Allen bolt is much more secure. T/A's come...

Looking to convert to electric but need some help please

Your ' T ' is small make up a card battery mock up using the battery dimensions given to see what fits & allowing 22/22mm to lift the battery up and out of the receiver, barring that look for the Hailong 2 case that is side off design though the dimensions/fitting still needs trying to see it...

Could this be the legal way to take your e-bike in the plane?

An excellent idea light and compact to suit the bike also ideal for commuting as it can easily be charged on the desk at work for a 8 - 12 mile one way commute, the only issue is waterproofing for those damp days.
