    Smartmotion Pacer hall sensor help

The vast majority will use SS41F designation a pretty standard type to use but you will need to check the sensor first, these work off the positive magnet poles.. Recently someone tried this on his hub and it didn't work because his hub used two hall types and one was reverse hall polarity...

    Woosh Faro Review

Next generation will likely be larger because of the 21700 cell format which can give more capacity, current trends are still 18650 though. Not enough testing/cycling has been carried out by ebikers with the newer format, though the Sam 50E is looking promising but only a sub 10a discharge cell.

    Cyclotricity, help fault finding

Yes if you have the moulded Julet plugs then you are better to open the controller to work off the pcb, with the battery live just be careful and sure where you probe. Julet's aren't for messing with as they are factory fitted and not diyable. If one was repairing for a living or offering a...

Installing pas sensor no lock nut

There will be a flange on the chainring side of the BB to retain the sensor ring, as the thread is a RH one from that side so it is fitted from that side. If the BB and cranks were Isis, Hollowtech or GXP type then you could fit on any side.

    Controller or battery issue

Matt you might want to consider buying the Julet 1T4 cable instead of the 1T2 one so that you can fit a brake cutout /kill switch in case of throttle malfunction. With out the cut out if a fault develops then the throttle can go open and then when you try and stop by using the brakes only the...

    Controller or battery issue

In the second pic you have drunk all the H. You can buy individual Julet to Julet extender cables for individual items so only one 1T2 cable is needed and run an extender to each connector. Select the colour coded Julet end you need Yellow one for throttle and Green for display, you can buy...

    Woosh Faro Review

If both are connected and turned on (voltage as close as poss) then they will drain and equalise fairly equally, the loading from each battery is about half so less current and stress for the cells.

    Overvolting a controller

If both batteries are widely different using diodes they will never equalise and one will discharge sooner then to the so defeats the object of paralleling.

    Overvolting a controller

I will take your word for it, that it's ok. From that lash up I can't tell. You can tidy it up a bit by using spiral wrap for the wiring.

It appears to sound electrical check the motor phase connectors are tight, if bullet type pinch the females up a bit so they are a firm tight fit. There should be a motor connector 10 - 12" from the hub make sure it is fully together.

    Cyclotricity, help fault finding

All are hall sensor wires 6 small wires is normal so if it dies have a seventh then it might be an internal temp sensor or a second speed sensing wire. You should see 5v between -/+. Test all the other thin wires with Black probe to Black thin wire and Red probe to the others (not Red)...
