Thanks for that. While you were posting I found free live streaming options and have amended my post above. Mobile phone coverage no good to me here, as you know. I'll probably use YouTube live stream. .

What is he doing? Putting principles before pragmatism, not a good idea in politics. If Boris Johnson becomes Tory PM, we'll have two complete opposites, one putting his principles before anything else, the other not knowing what a principle is. And the country's suffering will continue. .

Lucky man, I'll miss it on TV since I don't have BT sport. Might have to resort to a live streaming option. The League cup final was ruined here too. The rest of the country saw Man City win 6 - 0, but here they only won 3 - 0, thanks to our electricity network operator having a series of...

A second response to this to put the record straight. I almost always vote Tory in my borough council elections, the record showing they often do a much better job of running a borough. I've also voted Tory in many General Elections, since I decide on manifestos and those involved...

I'm sure he'll be acquitted, the case is fundamentally weak and I think only brought for political reasons at the worst possible moment. I wouldn't want Boris Johnson as PM, but I don't approve of dirty tricks to try to prevent that. .

As I've already posted, he managed the first term by continuing with Ken Livingstone's policies. But when those he introduced came into effect in the second term it was a litany of high costs and failures. The idiotic very high cost new routemaster bus he proposed and introduced has been a...

I can't see the Include 7 model listed by Kalkhoff, but if it has the Bosch motor you could add a "dongle" to uncap its speed. That will allow it to drive far beyond 20 mph. I doubt there's any way of obtaining the US software in Europe, you'd need a US dealer to do that. Dongle for Bosch...

As far as parliament is concerned it would be final, resolving the impasse. Of course among the public it will not be settled, even with a far larger margin. The Leave and Remain positions are too diametrically opposed to be harmoniously settled, unless we leave and long experience out of the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

It's been more than a bit difficult, it's proved impossible with a lockdown. But in the light of the public's far greater knowledge of the implications, a new vote, however marginal, will be an order to parliament that they cannot refuse, whether Leave with No Deal or Remain. .

No, it's hit the buffers, though duffers might be more appropriate. Parliament has gone beyond undecided, they've said we leave but also no to the deal and no to No Deal. That is stasis, a deadlock decision, colloquially hitting the buffers. Time to go back to the public, which could be by GE...

No, what I posted was about the referendum, change only having effect in fairly marginal situations since there are many factors at play. The Scottish Brexit referendum voter was far from marginal for example, 62/38, so the change factor alone would be unlikely to overturn that. .

No I'm not at all confused. We had the vote which had a result. The result was acted upon but failed by hitting a brick wall and is now stuck. So rather like when travelling and getting lost, time to ask for directions. Alternatively carry on wandering around in circles getting nowhere as...

That was known very long ago. Rory has walked extensively through the Middle and Far East, much of the time in national costumes which were more suitable in the circumstances than western clothes. As part of fitting in and learning as much as possible about the peoples he's taken part in their...

Parliament passed the democratic decision to the people and the outcome has hit the buffers. So a new referendum is going back to the public to complete the democratic process that parliament approved. .

Like all the other things said in connection with the referendum, it was meaningless. Saying that was anti democratic anyway. It is just like a GE, when the public can change their previous decision. We've voted for and tried to Brexit, It hasn't worked and has hit the buffers, so time to...

My first off and it was a strange one

He's probably one of the too many drivers who think bicycles are a menace on the roads and hate cyclists. Maybe if his wife is prosecuted he'll see things more clearly. .
