Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

I know, and it's not true as I said. Most countries in the world don't have any e-bike law. I only know of one country with a 750 watt law, and that as said is the USA with its federal law. That's not many. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The Tories are handing out the governance to us, just in a different way. Their system is to tax us the costs of services as if they were providing them, but then under the "Big Society", expect us to provide the services as volunteers. Examples are the way the public raise funds to provide...

    Street legal

Far wider than the EU, the 25 kph (15.6 mph) assist limit is the world standard, in force in all these countries: The EU countries, all the EFTA countries, Switzerland, Israel, Russia, Japan, China, India, Australia and New Zealand and some lesser countries. All those except New Zealand have...

Petition to legalizing throttle only eBikes for the disabled

That's not true, the dominant law on pedelecs worldwide is for an assist limit of 250 watts rating. This includes all the EU countries, all the EFTA countries, Switzerland, Israel, Russia, Japan, China, India, Australia and some other lesser ones. New Zealand is a slight variant with a 300...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That's not true and my past posts show that. I've repeatedly posted that it's the other benefits I really don't want to lose. The ECJ for example, the often more beneficial laws, the EU standards on Human Rights which are vastly superior to ours, the political influence in the world of that...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Of course, they are EU trade deals. Whose did you think they were? Given the huge size of the EU market, they can achieve better trade deals for us to use than any we could get alone. If we are lucky some might match the EU trade deal for us, but some won't. .

I don't think that's true for most remainers, including me. Just a few want that. I'd love Brexit to be a spectacular success with the UK prospering, but I don't think there's any chance of that. That opinion doesn't mean I want it to fail, just that I don't see any prospect of success...

    Throttles allowed?

These were probably the Heinzmann hub motor which usually are legal and a popular choice for cargo trikes and pedicabs since they are high torque. They are much larger diameter than our regular Bafang hub motors. .

Very true. Nor did Boris, it was a huge and unpleasant shock to him, which rather fouled up his personal plans. ,

Yes I think so. Leafleting is incredibly unproductive and I'm surprised it's still extensively done. Junk mail, the expression says it all. .

    Throttles allowed?

Yes under EU regulations, and also 4 mph under UK regulations. .

    Throttles allowed?

Can you give some clarification David? £55 is the test fee for LIe-A type approval, and if it's that 15.5 mph low powered moped type, it needs registration, number plate, insurance and a group Q driving licence minimum. .

Good isn't it Tommie, the benefits of being in the EU. We'll see that happens when we leave, if ever we do really leave properly that is. .

There really is no comparison. We already had Remain, and had for 44 years, so that made any remain distortions ineffectual. But the Leave campaigners wilfully and knowingly lied about every aspect of leaving, from the promises that we'd have no trouble getting a good deal to the £350...

Not so, the Leave campaign constantly said a good deal would be easy to get. Boris Johnson in particular argued that regularly. .

No. I think Putin is too busy sparring with Trump at the moment to be bothered about us. We're so good at damaging ourselves he doesn't need to do anything but look in once in a while for amusement. .

There's truth in that, but there are commentators who rate some of the younger Tory back bench highly. I don't know enough about them to comment, but a younger fresh face could be a good idea to escape the largely discredited present gang. .

For Sale Greyp G12S Electric Bike only 279 miles total! £6,500

I fully agree and this is a friendly place for e-bikers. My concern stems from those who have been mislead into buying an illegal bike and found out to their cost later. It's important to be entirely honest about the legality, the e-bike world is infested with false statements about this and...
