Mention to Jimmy the comm's wiring as he will make sure the BMS is kept powered in case it shuts down if disconnected.

newbie here with the powabyke dinasour version

This part doesn't make sense nor does most of the latter part of the post, you appears to be contradicting your self. Show us a pic of the brushed controller connectors and the ancillaries you are trying to connect.

Fitting different battery to Gtech citybike

My batteries don't use comm's between controller and BMS so I can parallel at the controller base, my comm's Tx/Rx only occurs between lcd & controller.

Fitting different battery to Gtech citybike

Yellow and Green are two way comm's Tx/Rx between the controller and batteries BMS, without these the system will not work. Replacing the battery with non GTECH one will need a new controller/ led or lcd and then then connect the motor up to it, depending on the motor connector type. OR. Two...

New member, currently clueless, thinking of a conversion

A new member has fitted a rack battery inadvertently thinking it was also a downtube one as well, they are rather wide generally to do so.

Alright guys. Newbie. Looking for advice for rear hub conversion for MTB

You should be able to pull the frame out enough by hand to fit the motor wheel , the issue is punctures and the faff of removing the wheel when out and about. So you have two options as I see it, go tubeless a faff in it self t times setting up or use a Gaadi tube which are brilliant. A double...

Alright guys. Newbie. Looking for advice for rear hub conversion for MTB

Tbh this frame is not an ideal candidate for a hub motor conversion due to the limitations of the drop outs, the rhs doesn't allow for axle to sit deep enough and lhs hampers the brake rotor.

Alright guys. Newbie. Looking for advice for rear hub conversion for MTB

The rhs isn't in deep enough but you are hampered by lack of material to remove , you might gain another mm or two by gently rounding the derailleur hanger d/o so the hub axle sits fully in and hard against the hangers d/o seat area also you will have to go a bit deeper on the lhs as well so the...

    Ezee Charging problem

Now I understand Elaine. For balancing all the time 41.8 - 42v though I have set two of mine to 41v for better cell cycle life, hopefully once you trim the voltage down the BMS will paly ball.

You might be better on cycling uk forum to ask as they have a dedicated bent sub forum for two and three wheelers .

    Ezee Charging problem

You are it says so in your name, Pink I'm sure isn't your first name so it must be Nigel Dean. The bot pot UR1 first note the how much you turn the pot and see if it tones the voltage down if not turn it back.

    Help! Speed limit unlock !!!

I ignore most of the forum police/do gooders and try and reply to those who in the main are having electronic issues or teething problems. To many trying to be PC when there are bigger issues in the world, who gives a toss about 4 or 5 mph difference I certainly don't and if someone wants to...
