    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, but they've already given favourable indications. It's as much in their interests as ours, they also want a deal. .

But they are all opposed to that too! Crazy situation. I can still see the can being kicked down the road with an Article 50 delay. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That isn't what I asked for or wanted. Since parliament cannot decide and is rejecting all options, I just want the public to decide which for them. If that's Leave, so be it. If parliament does eventually decide, I won't want it to go to the public, however much I might dislike their choice. .

I can't agree. How can the will of the public only apply at one moment in time? As long as the governmennt do what the public want, it will be grudgingly accepted. After all, another referendum would equally give Leavers a chance to affirm their wish, perhaps enlarging their majority. How is...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Ah, so we should scrap the equally pointless referendum vote? Seriously, opinions change with time and information. The now much better informed public have changed their mind as poll after poll shows, the margin continuously growing and now very substantial. Parliament cannot solve the...

Not the only thing they've just got wrong today. Strange they've ignored the YouGov poll that produced 59/41 in favour of Remain, a handsome 18% margin. A bit better than the measly under 4% that Leave got in the referendum. .

    get ready??

I'm well aware of the type approval needs and have alread y posted on the other aspects you mention in an earlier thread, covering all the e-car limitations for towing etc. Perhaps you've forgotten that this was my trade But I think you've jumped in late and misread. I wasn't speaking of...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

No, not the British Government, it was those who voted for Brexit who have created the division, creating an impossibility for which the government and EU struggle to find a solution. What I read from your post is a Most Threatened People versus a Most Oppressed people. If you would both drop...

First time E bike rider in Australia with non working very neglected 4yo Aseako Sport (Tonaro)

Welcome to the forum, we've had a few Tonaro owners in the past so they may be able to help. I understand some had crank gear problems but don't know the details. You may find this August post of mine useful. Also this post about a battery solution. .

Power Systems and Battery Chemistries Used in Electric Vehicles

The cells in e-car batteries can have a surprisingly easy time, hence such as 8 year warranties. My 2018 Leaf with it's 40 kWh battery driven in the congested south east is most of the time just taking a trickle from the battery. That's in stark contrast to my e-bikes batteries which have...

He was used as a Brexit minister but resigned from that in November. Radio 4 News announced his resignation from something at 1pm today in the news headlines, but didn't say from what. It now appears they messed up the announcement, confusing two new resignations with Raab's previous one...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Raab's resignation was mistakenly announced on the 1pm radio news. See this link. I can't guess at the numbers and margin rejecting, but don't think it will as bad for May as many thought. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

In order: No Yes Yes Then May will win the No Confidence vote. Within the allowed three days she'll announce that she's going back to the EU for further help, so can then take as long as she likes until the final leave day. She'll probably say she'll come back to the Commons in 14 days...

As I've repeatedly said, they were conned. Now they no longer are conned and New Labour no longer exists as a result of their realising the truth. Showing they agree that Blair and New Labour were not Labour. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

And now they realise they were conned, Blair and New Labour are finished. Blair was politically a moderate Conservative. Blair's policies were Conservative. He was opposed to most socialist policies New Labour's policies were his Conservative ones. He blocked socialist Labour MPs from...
