    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, I live on the edge of them, cycling, motorcycling, driving, rambling and enjoying the area for over 50 years. And the last 28 years retired, so even better. .

Then perhaps you can get them to stop constantly complaining about preferential treatment for the South? And as for quieter Northern roads, have you tried the M6 recently? .

Thanks Russ, that makes sense. I haven't fallen for the wide screen gimmick so remain with a 4 x 3 format monitor that suits Windows best. Fortunately some still make those for serious users. DVDs and the like I view on my 4K upscaling 65" smart TV. Peering at 5 or 6" phone screens isn't...

You just aren't getting it. As I said, envious of the benefits we have in terms of salaries, job opportunities, infrastructure, transport and certain other facilities. Of course they aren't envious of the downsides. .

No, remainers can't be banned, that's an oxymoron! In the English language, Remainers are the ones who stay, Leavers are the ones who depart. Bye bye. ;) .

I didn't say they were, I said they were envious of the benefits we have in the South, not the minuses and not specifically London. However I've known many people who have preferred living in London to other parts of the UK and stayed here all their lives. Also we have a huge French...

Indeed, and that's an indication of how little the Leaver public understood what they were voting for. They largely seemed to think it would be just a quick separation, having little concept that the entire process could take very many years. .

But those in the south don't envy the north their circumstances, the direction of migration shows that only too clearly with Northerners coming here in droves over the years. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I think JRM and Gove have very little public support. Boris Johnson still has quite a lot , but it's greatly reduced from what it once was. JC could certainly get in with the Tory margin reducing again as it did so much last time. The public are increasingly sick of the Tories, still angry...

Economically yes they do, often moaning about the comparative wealth of the South and our infrastructure. Still complaining about Crossrail for example, while getting bitter about Northern transport conditions, the envy is obvious and openly stated. I fully agree May going won't make anything...

I don't see any ads on the left, just a single four part ad. on on the right with two parts flipping the message. But that doesn't disturb, I had to go looking since I'd been so unaware of any ads. .

Indeed, that's a characteristic of third world countries and those heading on that path. True also nationally, the poorest areas are largely in the North of England and they have the lowest prices, while we in the South are largely better off and pay more. Snag is, the Northerners envy our...

It could have had the effect of an unintended person being elected if they'd won. That's a definite possibility, unlike the outcome of promises, and it is classed as fraud. .

Not really because it cannot be shown there is any loss or suffering to anyone, either actual or intended. Our opinions on outcomes aren't evidence of course. .

But as Russ has said, more than half are now viewing on phones or tablets and their needs are different, the old version not as suitable. I think we'll see these changes more and more as viewing becomes increasingly mobile. I only visit on my PC so the former versions were fine for me too...

Yes, possible, but I think it would bring Tory outrage at the very least. .
