Help in choosing E Bike. ( Mountain Bike )

Expensive? none of the woosh bikes is expensive. The Zephyr has an excellent 100mm RST Omega fork, lightweight with magnesium lowers, Tektro sensored hydraulic brakes, 36V 12AH battery, 26" wheels and Bafang SWX02 motor. The front wheel has QR skewer, so it does not have to be folded to go on...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

apparently, the ERG charges its members £20,000 a year subscription fees which members can claim back from the HoC. So, the ERG is funded by the public purse at the tune of 50 * £20k = £1m a year plus other grants. They, also apparently, use the money to wine and dine members and donors...

no, that's the wrong way. You want red-red, blue-blue. then join the red pair to the white wire on the controller side, blue pair to the black wire on the controller side. Here, in the workshop, I would simply re-crimp the wires but you could use a small screw terminal block to join the wires...

    Karoo or Kreiger

Karoo is more like riding a normal bike. On the Karoo, you can press - button to go to assist level 0, perfect for cyclists, the bike rides like a normal non-assisted bike, does not use any of the battery, when you hit a gradient, twist the throttle to turn assist back on.

I see the problem. Lishui controllers have two female JST connectors for 2 pins for the brakes so it would be just a plug in job. Your controller is different and there is only one cable instead of two for the brakes. You said earlier on that this is the only unused connector. If it's for the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

the Pound has been rising since the ERG released their own brexit plan. It fizzled as soon as released, its effect lasted less than 1 1/2 hours. Immediately after its release (last Wednesday), the Pound fell from $1.303 to $1.299. Since, the Pound continues to recover, it's now at $1.313. The...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

a lot of people do not realise the importance of the 'Single VAT area' of the EU. It is essentially it that makes cross-border frictionless trade possible. Every year, EU countries lose up to €50 billion to cross-border Value Added Tax fraud.

you can't leave and keep all the benefits, even if you are willing to pay more than before. I already gave the example of exporting to Norway, which is as close to the EU as one can get after brexit. Forget about selling on stuff you import from elsewhere to the EU27. Brexit means more red tape...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Chequers is much nearer to Canada than any customs union, leave alone the single market. That's why the EU sees a lot of +s in it. Chequers is bad for both sides of the debate but it's the only middle of the road plan at the moment.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Paul Dacre was replaced by Geordie Greig as the new editor of the Daily Mail a few months back. Leavers were definitely a minority in last night BBC Question Time. Maybe that's because the show was in Banbury, not Thurrock, Essex. Only one said 'just leave. Now!' with little applauds. The...

    Braking motor cut

the black wire is ground, white wire is signal. if you only have one connector, then it's a bit messy, you need to parallel up the two sets. Try first with one set to make it work then ask the supplier for an adapter to join two sets together.

    Huge increase in UK e-bikes

Halfords alone has 460 stores. I reckon the number of bike shops offering test ride must be in the region of 1,000+ now.
