Torque arms for rear wheel drives - are they really necessary?

it's best to err on the side of caution. put that wheel on the scales. If it's more than 5kgs, you'll need both torque arms.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

for a large number of conservative voters, it looks that way. butt two out of three Labour voters want to remain, if this does not happen, then a soft brexit. What does Corbyn do? He lets JRM and his ERG blackmail the government and sabotage any deal with the EU. He could have allowed his MPs a...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

same as people who vote for the NF/FN. it's more about identity than numbers. Most don't gain but don't lose if UK or France leaves the EU. if you look at the social grouping of the conservative membership, it's largely ABC groups and pensioners.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

that is a different issue. The government controls business in the HoC. The principle that MPs are in charge of brexit was not in doubt. What caused the confusion was JC's position, suppporting hard brexit with tactical voting while professing that he wants the same benefits as we have at the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

it does not matter that a debate has occurred before MPs take a position. what matters is a small percentage (about 15%) of MPs managed to acquire extra-ordinary power: to ransom a big country like the UK, and there is no mechanism to stop them except a new election so that the people can kick...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

you have to pick a system of representation, either direct (plebiscite) or indirect (general election). Flip-flopping between the two gave us this sort of crisis. Was the EU referendum advisory? If it was, then it's up to MPs to decide.

Advice on which donor bike to buy please.

no, it's a 73mm BB, 73mm motor offset by 6mm to the drive side, that's why you run out of thread. If you make a CNC piece that replaces one of the M33 nuts so that you can hang the motor on to it, you may salvage the situation.

Advice on which donor bike to buy please.

the Vooodoos shell length is already 73mm. You need 6mm more thread to fit the BBS to the Voodoos, that's why there is no solution unless someone is enterprising enough to make a CNC piece specially for it.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

At the moment, the future of the UK is held to ransom by about 15% of MPs, entirely down to an unlucky conjunction of factors. if the deal needs to be confirmed, then what is needed is a fresh GE. MPs are less influenced than the general public by extreme journalists or fake news.

Advice on which donor bike to buy please.

no, it's due to the 'sporty look' of the chainstays. They flare out too close to the bottom bracket, touching the BBS gearbox casing and the BB shell is 73mm long instead of 68mm. If you pad out the BB with 6mm spacers on the gearbox side, you run out of thread on the non drive side.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

this is why brexit cannot be left to be decided by the conservative party: JRM warns TM not to pass a deal with help from Labour. he said "it would be very dangerous if the leadership attempted to work around those opposed to a compromise deal with the EU. The most divisive thing for a party is...

Advice on which donor bike to buy please.

if you want value for money, Halfords Voodoos are hard to beat. They come equipped with hydraulic brakes and a budget but practical front suspension. The only problem is they don't take Bafang BBSes, so if you want to change from hub drive to crank drive later, you'll have to change bike.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

there are some good reasons why some rich people fund directly brexit or remain. They own businesses that are directly affected by the protectionism of the EU customs duty and regulations like fresh food, dairy, alcoholic drinks, sugars, meat, automobiles, coffee, vacuum cleaners etc. The only...

    Energise - Westhill Bikes

both bikes use standard Chinese components that you would find on many hub drive e-bikes. The main differences are: 1. the motor cable exits on the left on the Energise and on the right on the Oxygen. 2. the forks are different. The S-Cross has a suspension fork, the Energise has a rigid fork...

I am saying that they don't count in the brexit debate, except those who put millions into it, they are the ones that seek to influence and legitimate targets.
