Which is why we are talking about putting certified kits on certified bikes... It is self built but from certified bits. On the CoC the builder is the manufacturer. Then your SVA test center will decide if it is up to scratch or not. If it isn't then you did something wrong. For pete's sake you...

Thinking of purchasing a Bosch Nyon for maps & change motor setting

Orux maps on a Nexus 7. It isn't mounted on the handlebars it is in the pannier and pulled out whenever I come to one of those junctions on the cycle path that I am not to sure of. Happened once since June in San Sebastian.

If you are a self builder and you want to pass SVA you will want to present a bike that conforms to both those standards. You don't have to do the testing just assemble a kit that is conform to EN15194 onto a bike that is conform to EN14xxx and provide the correct documentation including a self...

By the serial number on the frame which is obligatory for the bicycle to be EN 15194 (it has to conform to the machinery directive which in turn requires a serial number engraved into the frame).

    bike theft

Any insurance company worth working with would subsidize a fair whack of that amount, at the least with large reduction of premium and why not lifting of franchises.

Yes you are reading correctly. Why isn't it on all the German bikes? Because a throttle is just another thing hogging real estate on the handlebar, something else that can break and eating into profit margins!

To be complete if the screw isn't long enough to keep the cage in the correct place for the new chainline you can put a longer one in.

    Panda Conversion Kits

As it is a rather nice alloy frame why don't you put a Woosh GSM kit on it? No mucking about with filing dropouts to 14 mm and fitting torque arms. And I prefer hub kits with the controller inside the battery casing. Add a hydraulic rim brake on the front and you aren't far off your initial...

    It's goodbye from him,

High semi-recumbent is also available http://www.hpvelotechnik.com/produkte/komfort/index_e.html Stable delta trikes (single wheel on front) need to be much longer wheelbase than tadpole trikes to obtain the same stability. It is just the physics.

Gear ratio on Vita Uno 26

They don't want us to know, checked both sites and "it has 21 gears" which bleeding ones does it have KD? Seriously that is not up to par. Looks like a 42 tooth on the front? He can go all the way up to 48 from my experience. I would love to have 50 - 38 on the front and say 12 - 32 on the rear...

Best value 36v battery on the market now

I don't think we can wait that long... :D So far sounds so good. Your and Nealh's data on the gsm make me wonder what kind of battery I will need to buy. I won't be running de-restricted but am guessing that it will need a 25 A BMS to handle peaks.

    Recomendations for converting Mission Trike?

Do you have a disabled person card over there? Does he have one of those? If so mount a 500 W front wheel kit (16" no problem) and limit him to a reasonable speed for a delta trike with a disabled person on board. Et voila! Instant disabled person mobility vehicle.

So from the above it looks like s-pedelec = L1e-B in the UK as well. Which I assume means if you are caught riding one without plate and tax and helmet on the open road very bad things will happen to you... On the brighter side you should be able to register your shiny new s-pedelec as a...

    Almost decided. Or have I?

Lucky you! So a good climber is in order so you don't get to work all hot and sweaty. If that is possible outside of July and August :p just being cheeky because we are finally in for a patch of cold weather! <sound of champagne corks> My current requirements are a bike that has great handling...
