Hung for a sheep or lamb.....

But an s-pedelec can do up to 45 kph so 35 with 650W is a bit on the light end. And only 36V?

Is it a Pedelec or an e-bike?

Electrically assisted vehicle = VAE in French. My question (through all of these discussions we have had since I joined in June) is: Is a an electrically assisted bicycle the best choice for a person who is (so) infirm or disabled as not to be able to turn pedals without needing to apply very...

Looking to make my daily commute as easy as possible

I saw several different Kalkoff models in the flesh when I was up in Nantes for Christmas. Very nice bikes, great looking build quality but I have read too many scary things about the motors breaking recently. The bars, flat bars are not very comfortable if you have a hilly ride. At the very...

Looking to make my daily commute as easy as possible

xDuro with dongle gets my vote. Keep those pedals turning and no one will be surprised you are doing over 40 kph.

    Hey, it's me, FantaisyRat

Ok I read the thread and see what you want to do. I want to have a trike one day too but it will be my car so road only. I think that the GSM at 18 A is a good option. The other high end option is the Norwegian 25 A "250" W BBS but it costs 700 €

    Hey, it's me, FantaisyRat

Welcome Franck I am another "French" pedelec rider and am also interested by the GSM kit for my second build. Toulouse is a nice flattish city, perfect for e-bikes. And the traffic jams are some of the worst in France and excellent reason for riding one there!

    An Interview With Justin

And those who have a healthy life mix: some computer games (racing car simulators mostly), riding my e-bike and fishing? Maybe he was just referring to those without a healthy balance between several activities?

    An Interview With Justin

Even if you are chucking 72V at them? The North American e-bike usage seem to be much different from Europe: over volting, thrashing the bikes around at speeds beyond what a bicycle frame was designed for, burnouts!...

    Does bicycle weight really matter?

You could buy this empty case which accepts a 15A sine wave controller in the base and have someone build a 6A battery to go inside. It could possibly be shortened as you will have removed a layer of batteries. Shoot a bit of matt black stealth fighter paint on it and bobs your uncle...

    Ultra HD Television Sets

And what do I do about geo IP blocking? "BBC iPlayer TV programmes are available to play in the UK only. Find out why. If you are in the UK and see this message please read this advice." So I can pay for a VPN service or an IP spoofing box or other tools to get around this. Yes pay to watch...

    Ultra HD Television Sets

See what I mean! You are not listening! I used to build Linux boxes that did that but where does your live TV signal come from? Mine came from DVB-S but Astra (satellite company) cut that off. I don't care about free movies just want to watch the 9 o'clock news sometimes.

    Ultra HD Television Sets

Back in the day my computer was my TV too. I actually made a special Linux version for my computer and it's DVB-S card. But Astra in its wisdom took the satellite with freeview away so that we can't watch the BBC or ITV any more, the sat card is in the computer spare bits box. I could watch...
