No quite correct, the official max conitinuos of 29E IS 2.75a though it is capable of 7.25a for a short spike. Not a good choice really.

Controllers aren't rated by wattage but amps, so any controller of the correct voltage will work you just buy one with the amps your battery will be happy to work with.
