You will have a controller somewhere other wise the motor wouldn't work, hub has 3 phase and the hub wiring will be wired via connectors to a controller box somewhere. Follow both the battery wiring and the hub motor cable and both will lead to the controller.

Front 250w kits are thin on the ground, Yose 250w is 36v and the hub a bit weedy at only about 20/25nm of torque.
