    hello ...ebike fan

There is one other possibility that the battery cells are unbalanced and may have one weak or cell string/group that is a at a lower voltage then the rest. The only way of knowing is to open the battery case and check the individual voltages with a mutli meter. We can guide you if you feel...

    hello ...ebike fan

At 4 years old the issue is most certainly a battery issue and is an indication of cells ageing. The cutting out on inclines is battery sag or voltage collapsing under amp load, the battery has a pcb we call it a BMS. It is programmed to cut out once the voltage hits a minimum figure known as...

Power has been cutting out for a few seconds when going up hill

Surprised error 6 didn't show on the screen which is controller short, China speak for very hot fets causing thermal cut out. 100 x 60mm x 18mm heat sink on ebay or other various sizes depends on you actual controller size and how much extra depth of HS you want to add. If need be put one on...

    Yosepower hub kits.

I use cheap simple 99p switch's from ebay sellers. Put the switch on the v+ side of the battery as it is only voltage you need to worry about.

    Yosepower hub kits.

No. My reply was general one, as Mags asked about not having a switch mode to turn off. Not having a switch and leaving an drain cells most likely the first and last string of cells.

    Hello from St Annes-on Sea

Dry sand dunes away from the surf. Saline damp/wet sandy & water will kill electronics quickly as you have found out.

Battery power needs to be isolated as controllers can drain cells as often they can draw milliamps even though they are not working.

    charger broke??

13a fuse is normal for a charger to wall socket. Does look like Gray has an issue and as he say's wiring first, assuming correct fuse was used.

    Loose power connectors

For battery supply I use either XT60 or use RC Gold 4mm banana bullets, replacing the controller connectors. With MT60 on the phase, the connections are much better and secure all round. The male part of the banana bullet is sprung/expanded so grips nicely when pushed in also the solder end has...

Any three wire pas sensor should work, you just have to get the wire sequence correct.

    Yosepower hub kits.

Any drag /resistance is non existent with geared hubs. What you actually feel is the extra motor hub weight vs a normal light weight bike hub. The weight being centred all at the hub gives the riding affect of drag which is an illusion. On level ground I can peddle to 19mph. Front kits are...

14g sapim strongs. You can't guess or assume. You have to use a spoke calculator to get the right length spokes but to do that you need to know the ERD of the rim you want to use as they all vary and a few mm out and you will have lacing/tensioning issues. Measure the rim internally across 2...
