    Brexit, for once some facts.

I don't want that, remember my reminder that the majority get it wrong? By far the most successful part of the UK is and has long been London, and London is always Labour and decidedly Remainer. Right on all counts as the success shows. If the rest of the country had any sense it would follow...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

That is what Brexit is all about now. Once they've sold everything else and Brexit fails, the government and ownership of the UK may be up for sale for a big enough cash consideration for those doing the selling. Advertised as an "Attractive offshore island with strategic potential", the US...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

You've answered your own question, give up this nonsense: "I hate the fact we dont have either a labour government or a labour party capable of gaining power" 1) Corbyn's is a true Labour government, i.e. Socialist. 2) It is capable of gaining power and is likely to at the next general...

They have refused to obey two UN resolutions requiring them to withdraw to the 1967 border and remove illegal West Bank settlements. If they wish to be free of UN bias, they must first obey international law. Refusal to do so means they've automatically become a criminal state. .

That automatic enrolment was removed long ago to negate Tory criticism. Trade unionists have to choose to join the Labour Party now. The huge growth in membership has been fairly recent and may be as much due to dislike of the Tory government as liking Labour policies. .

    Update on N.I. e-bike regs.

As Ted says, it's not the registration that's the real objection. It's the fact that thereafter the bike is fully treated as a motorcycle in N.I. That means number plate, annual free VED renewal, third party motor vehicle insurance which is difficult and expensive to obtain for bike based...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Time for your to "give it up" Zlatan, meaning the way your hatred of socialism and Jeremy Corbyn is distorting your views. The evidence continues to show that today's Labour party is the only one appealing to the electorate. The others suffer continued slumping support, some now an irrelevance. .

    Legal or not?

I liked the passenger footrest feature and clothing guard too, though the rider footrests are redundant on a pedelec. Whether the passenger could pedal instead is a tricky question. The second person on a tandem pedals, but only when the first rider pedals. Also a tandem is specifically...

    Legal or not?

Thanks, that's good it has pedelec as well so the throttle could be removed. If it is limited to 15.5 mph assist that change would then make it legal here. .

    Legal or not?

That's what I posted, it has to be registered as a moped. L1e-A is a moped class in the UK. And since we don't know if it's limited to 15.5 mph we can't say it fits L1e-A. If it powers to a higher speed it would have to be L1e-B, the full moped class. In fact it may not be easily registered...

    Legal or not?

Since they say twist and go, the throttle may be the only way it's controlled. Also we don't know if it's limited to 15.5 mph. Unless these are clarified it's a risky buy, epecially as it's from too far away to return. .

How can I give you a reference for a national TV news announcement on the 17th? I listened to it in astonishment on the 17th, since, as you say, it so obviously conflicted with what Theresa May had said during the week. If you are right it was a media or government conspiracy, certainly not...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

I've only answered because this is distortion again, that is not what I posted or the government or the media announced. Porton Down were not asked to identify it until after the 17th, and we've learn't they had been reluctant to be specific. There's still no announcement of a definitive...

And on the 17th the government announced that Porton Down was going to be asked to identify the agent used. That was stated on the national news channels on the 17th and 18th. Note, going to be asked. Don't you follow the news, or do you just comment based on internet searches done in arrear...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

No it didn't. Theresa May announced it was Novichok days before it was referred to Porton Down to find out what it was. Both announcements were on national news channels at the time in that sequence. I don't doubt what's available online now says different, exactly what happened in the...

I've added one of the links to Craig Murray's statement, see above. As you'll see it was common knowledge and announced by the national news. How you missed it at the time I can't imagine. .

The source was previously quoted and linked to, it was a leak from a friend at Porton Down to one of our ex diplomats Craig Murray. Here's a link. In sequence the government and prime minister in person said immediately after the poisoning that Novichok was used. Then a few days later at the...
