do i need to fit a speed sensor to kt controller

No need for ext spd sensor the Yose has internal sensor just connect up the square white hall connector, should have 6 thin wires as AK has mentioned white wire is the int hub spd wire. For throttle you can tease out the pins with a very thin screw driver or a blunt pin to get wire sequence...

    Yosepower hub kits.

If your crank arm doesn't go on fully the you need a longer bottom bracket as we have mentioned on a few posts regarding this kit when using the supplied KT12 sensor. Cost about £10 from Halfords's, the axle is square taper so it won't be on fully tight at 80% and you may end up rounding the...

How another bike forum see's us the Pedelecs forum.

They do have an e-bike section with a few promoters trying to gee them up a bit, but it does appear they haven't the will to move with a new trend. Mostly it is a roadie forum with what seems the typical bust a blood vessel mentality amongst some of them. I quite like the bent/ trike section...

I did notice a few of your postings over there Eddie and find it strange to hear you are banned. They obviously don't know a good reviewer when they see one.

    S-KU95 controller help

Yes but also connect up the square hall sensor plug to the Q128 as well as it will run quieter. The kit should have a motor wire lead that connects to the hub motor and at the controller end it should have the 3 separate thick (motor) phase wires green, blue, yellow & a white square plug with...

    S-KU95 controller help

I don't think your controller will work at all but if you wish to try insulate all the wires you bared and you will need to short the red and blue wire to each other on the led lead which is black 4 pin connector with 4 wires, green and black leave alone.

    eBike stopped working - help!

Both going at the same time doesn't bode well. Even if pas goes throttle should work independantly, sounds like something may have fried in the controller. Probably a mosfet has gone. Disconnect the controller by unplugging the motor cable at the connector along the rear stay and if the wheel...

    S-KU95 controller help

I think we need to start from scratch on this one Matt. Being a wheel chair conversion the only means of propulsion is via throttle, either twist type or thumb type. Having LCD or led is ideal for pas assist levels but of no use for your requirements, though to prevent wire short mishaps a led...
