    Brexit, for once some facts.

Since we would always need to take over control under certain circumstances, that unfortunately could and would happen. .

Ah but it turned off, showing it was a local road for local people. :D .

Very true, and also true for all of our services and benefits, well below the European standards. Building unusable aircraft carriers, having nuclear missile submarine fleets of the latest standard and attacking distant countries are our priorities. .

Some truth in this, but also containing an intrinsic problem, the necessity for our organic brain. This might surprise you, but we will never see a driverless vehicle doing what our present vehicles do for us, it's impossible. What we will see are vehicles that can be without driver control...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Really? Now let's see. Some 2000 years ago the Romans built us some roads. Over many hundreds of years since, farmers and drovers created tracks for their animals and carts. In the last 150 years we've put some tar on their surfaces, but can't keep up with repairing the potholes in them...

The density of shipping traffic though the channel makes a bridge that has to be opened an impossibility, it would be open nearly all the time. Make all shipping go round the British Isles, no problem for modern ships, and fill in the channel at the narrowest point with a barrage incorporating...

I'd guessed you'd seen through it, but I'm sure many might not. The same author has produced some pretty sick jokes as you'll see on this link. Diane Abbott isn't going to be Labour's Chancellor of the Exchequer, but her mathematical talents could be useful for presenting immigration figures...

Well done the EU, keeping the business in house, unlike the UK who have opted to lose almost everything to imports. And that is inaccurate anyway, UK customers don't pay more after the tariffs, we pay the same, just denied the cheap imports that will weaken us all ultimately if we always go for...

Similar here on the South London - Surrey border except the drive can be less than a mile, but perhaps due to greater health conciousness, the women and kids are quite skinny and healthy looking. Only a small proportion of kids or mums on my estate or the adjacent ones could be described as...

It's worth noting that even if they were in Pakistan they would be criminals, the relevant laws there being much harsher than ours in the UK. In Pakistan any intercourse outside of marriage is illegal, so they have no age of consent. The minimum ages for marriage are 18 for males and 16 for...

Unfortunately they've got so used to i.c vehicles and the noise they make, they judge if it's safe to cross with their ears. As the use of silent fully electric cars increases I foresee a big increase in pedestrian accidents until they relearn how to cross roads safely. .

I think your natural ground is probably Liberal, but of course with our first past the post system it's a wasted vote. I'm more in favour of restrained socialism in the Social Democrat mould. .

Police failings, plus some local corruption. That's still no excuse for passing illegal laws though. .

Exactly what is the 'Rat trap' for

I gave an agree, but like to keep number 4. It can be very useful in a variety of ways, particularly for the original purpose of holding a cape. Among other things I've used it a few times to retain the odd road kill pheasant where it had been struck and killed by a vehicle but not run over...
