    Broken spokes

I replace the odd spokei if needed with wheel in situ and tyre on, the only thing that may prevent this is a larger disc rotor or cassette. With a bit of practice and manipulate a spoke can be replaced once unthreaded in about a minute.

Cyclotricity Front wheel Kit - thoughts on wheel centering

If you are unable to center using washer etc then the wheel can be dished, you will need a spoke key and it is dead easy to do. Starting at the valve and the side with smallest clearance undo all spoke nipples exactly one half of a turn, then on the other side tighten all nipples the same...

    Single speed ebike build

It will go a bit faster with 12s but to use 48v proper as 13s a new 48v controller will be needed you will then get up to 25% more speed..

    Single speed ebike build

32 km/h is it's optimal speed rating, which would suggest the hub is wound for about 260 - 280 rpm.

Selling a used ebike, what are the pitfalls.

Just be honest and describe it accurately. Explain if warranty is left or is transferable, some brands will transfer warranty others will give additional years for a reasonable fee. The main worry is the battery, how old it is. The range you manage and not what is expected. Explain that after 2...

    more battery mussings

Lithium cells certainly perform better in the warm as we are getting now rather then in the cold of winter. My 29E's (14.5ah 10s5p) were seeing me 16 - 18miles during the cold and has crept up a bit now. The biggest gain is using them in a lower assist (pas2 with a 20a controller), mileage is...

Looking for advice regarding motor and controller

Even without speed limit 40km/h come on, 250w hubs are good but be a bit more realistic. Set your sights on 20 - 22mph as a max speed with a 17/18mph average more of a target. You could try a 500w bpm/cst or Q128h 800w bung a 30a controller with them and 30mph is possible but your battery, oh...

Life's to short to worry to much about wrong posts. As for moderation I thought we were all grown up's, some times there is a bit of naughtiness usually often caused by newer posters or spammers who have lost their sense of humour. A shame really because Smarty pants was quite funny in away and...

    Front or rear hub motor?

Down tube is much better as C of G and general weight distribution is better. Rear hub handles better and is a nicer ride, sticking a battery also at the back makes it tail heavy.
