yes I inflate the 3" kiniption to 17psi as a compromise for both. On tarmac, 20 psi or higher gives good rolling, easy pedaling without power. Off road, 12-15psi gives good grip. You need a good track pump with a good pressure gauge though...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

it can't be helped. TM is ineffectual as a leader, plus, she is between a rock and a hard place. She should call it a day and let the three brexiteers to fight it out between themselves.

the zephyr C has carbon belt drive and IGH, disc brakes front and rear, practically maintenance free but the 26" Zephyr 2017 is sure-footed at over 30mph.

that's correct. They run fine at 25 psi. If you use high pressure, you lose the suspension of the tyre. The difference in suspension between the two tyres (3" Kiniption and Schwalbe Space 2.35) is clear.

there are other people selling fat bike tyres. They are expensive though, like most things for fat bikes. About £50 a tyre.

yes, they are. I pumped them up to 45psi to make sure they don't pop out. They need to be inflated to 25 psi for fast rolling on tarmac roads.

Only Richard has researched the replacement tyres for the FB, so he knows more than me on the subject. I chose the 3" tyres because they are multipurpose, good on tarmac roads also at ease on muddy tracks. 4" tyres are less good on tarmac roads. If you want to use the bike mainly for commuting...

    Which folding commuter bike

I have the 20" Gale and 16" Gallego in stock. I don't recommend them because for commuting 20 miles a day, 6,000 miles a year, only the toughest bikes will do. If you compare the specs of the Gale versus the Zephyr 2017, motors and batteries will do 40 miles but they are not built with the same...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

whatever you think of brexit, it's most likely going to happen. As kudosdave put it via Isobel oakeshott's mouth: brexit or rather the EU, is a deep rooted problem, labour has never liked it because of its rules on immigration and state aids, conservatives never like it because of the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

there is no guarantee that EURef2 would have a larger participation than the last one. TBH, I don't think EURef2 is the solution. If labour comes out with an anti-brexit platform then they may just wrestle power from the tories and proceed to be a proper member. Otherwise, soft brexit is the...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

remainers - if you want to reverse brexit (it seems that danidl may be right, you can't), you have to win not just the mind of the brexit voters but also their heart. Apparently, a recent poll suggests that the 4% margin has reduced to 3% after more than a year. The only solution is a soft brexit.

    Wisper eMTB sneak preview

I am not sure I can agree with you.. it's inefficient and expensive for what it is. You need a spring (air or coil) and a hydraulic damper, both adjustable, soo it's logical to have them in two legs. this time, a good and cheap product but has a couple of drawbacks. It's heavy and ugly...
