Why does every eBike seem to advertise a 20-30 mile range?

It's the distance covered in the two hours to the first breakdown. . .

Oslo Offers Citizens $1,200 to Buy an E-Bike

No, the problem of getting electricity laid on for the charge point proved almost insurmountable. Something about knocking down other properties, people can be so unco-operative. .

Oslo Offers Citizens $1,200 to Buy an E-Bike

We have a similar UK subsidy on buying electric cars. It was £5000, now reduced to £4500, but due to the high initial cost of e-cars it's the wealthy who can afford to buy them who benefit. .

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Not so sure, it was a celebration of unity, so her presence would have been as a wet blanket. We aren't an example of unity in EU terms, and never have been. .

Ditto on football and cricket, mainly because I can't see the point of chasing a ball around a field. I preferred "The Prisoner" where the ball chased the people. But with the hi-fi that isn't true, since it's so much an area of personal taste, like foods and home environments. In these it's...

    Electric Planes

They mostly use steam for the propulsion, not rubber, and the steam pressure propulsion rate is of course controllable. Rubber is used in the capture slings for landing. Currently an electromagnetic one is under prototype development. .

I don't see why. How can I, for example, respect the Jehovah's Witness who tells me the earth was created 6000 years ago and that all evidence of dinosaurs is faked by scientists? Freedom of speech means they are not denied the expression of that ignorant opinion, but I reserve my right to...

    Electric Planes

A rail mounted electric powered launch platform that accelerates and elevates to assist wing lift at the same time should be viable without excessive G forces. Within normal takeoff length that could easily exceed takeoff speed. The additional runway space for launch platform deceleration...

    Electric Planes

But couldn't we just keep flying with jets etc., since with time that would bring Malaga's sunshine and temperatures to us, so we then wouldn't need to fly any more. ;) :) .

    Electric Planes

After today's news and scary photos of an Uber automated car crashing, one of a recent series of such accidents, I think people might be very nervous about taking an automated flight. I believe we are much further away from these futuristic scenarios than the optimists think, it seesm to me...

lowe it unisex bike 24v but what ah

If it's this one, it's a lithium battery. I'd guess from it's size that it's probably 8 to 10Ah and from the quoted charge time most likely 10Ah. .

    Battery Question

That's fine, the battery's 15.4 is just a bigger capacity of Ampere/hours. Just like a fuel tank that holds more gallons, no effect on the engine. Only the voltage needs to be the same. The controller will just take the current it needs, up to 13 amps rate at a time. .
