    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG, please describe that cliff edge that you and oldtom see so clearly. So what happens to the people who rush over it? presumably they'll hit some serious consequences like losing their job or their house?

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

agreed. It would look better with 15ah @ 1,200. Redcup, how does your MaxDrive compare to the bikes you rode today?

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

I found the pictures are excellent, specs clearly described. The price is excellent, it should have sold faster. It could well be that few people know how expensive the MaxDrive is.

    Bafang Max Drive bikes

GW listed 7 City Cross, sold 6, 1 still for sale. I am a bit surprised that it didn't sell faster than that, such a good value bike for the price. http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/GREENWAY-Electric-Cross-City-bike-700C-Samsung-cell-Li-ion-battery-BAFANG-Drive-/121927007291

Jumping of what cliff? You are a bit what you think of others, oldtom.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

grow up oldtom. People who voted for brexit know that they don't want the EU anymore.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Yes, you are right, I have no clue because I think the future after brexit is not yet known but I think you don't know it any better than I do. So get off your high horse and stop patronizing.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

oldtom, brexit has not happened yet. Let's just wait and see.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

OG, you are so absorbed in your own arguments that you can't see even the obvious when it comes from the opposite camp. Brexit means taking back control. Brexit will have succeeded when we are no longer in the EU, regardless of any deal. The reason previous governments did not want to control...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

May has only to deliver a hard brexit, Trump will have a much tougher time. His main promise to bring jobs back to the USA is unachievable because progress in robotics will destroy jobs in the USA faster than any other economic factor.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

The main achievement of brexit regarding immigration is that we will be able to manage the pull factor. Blair suggested that the most reduction would be about 12%, from about 350,000 down to 270,000 a year.

    Is an ebike for me?

true enough but you expose more of the electrics to rain.

    Is an ebike for me?

yes, at some stage but at higher pricce point than £1,000. The usual issue is expectation. The Max Drive is an excellent motor, you need to match it with excellent components but it adds up to a much higher price point. The Basic motor alone is over $500 compared to about $170 for a set of hub...

He did have a simple strategy and plan. But he is not very sharp though.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Labour has only one problem, it has to find a suitable next PM.

    Are diesel cars now worthless?

I don't think diesel is worthless. Diesel has higher calorific energy content than petrol. The problem with pollution in diesel cars is solvable. Diesel is part of the oil fractional distillation. We have to use it somewhere, if not in cars then in trains and power stations.

    Is an ebike for me?

That depends on the rider. I can give a few reasons why the GW is not ideal. A bike for commuter must have a few specific qualities, such as excellent waterproofing, full chainguard and mudguards, lights, bell, puncture-proof tyres, easy and cheap to maintain. A strong motor, big battery, high...

    Is an ebike for me?

You shouldn't leave an electric bike locked up all day outside where it can easily gets rained on for a long time. Also, expensive electric bikes get unwanted attention. Once it gets noticed, even the best locks won't deter thieves. From our range of bikes, the best waterproofed are the Woosh...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

About time too. The way the two main parties select their leader is dangerous. We elect intelligent, educated people to represent us in parliament then hand over the selection of their leaders and future PMs to the one member one vote system which disadvantages the consensual leaders.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

There's bound to be rancour and mistrust at the beginning of a split up but you know what, trade with the EU will recover and brexit will become softer in the years that follow. After a few years, people will look back and all the initial pain would have been forgotten. Most economists agree...
