First eBike conversion, helped needed (photos shown)

if you can return the battery and get another battery, I recommend you do so. You can use this type of downtube battery: This one is 36V 12AH right side pull but I think you can get them now in 14AH: This one is HL battery, capacity is 13AH, 15AH and 17AH: for spare batteries, visit...

    HUB MOTOR CAPABILITY

The manufacturer of the motor will recommend the size of the controller to you. Which then narrows down your choice of battery. Give us an example of the motor you are thinking of, we'll help you to understand what to do and why.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

possibly substantial. I have not seen any stats but not in billions a year though. The problem I find with the EU is a usual problem that you'll find in any bureaucratic apparatus: they grow over time. Their budget will increase year after year, eventually drown what is a basically good idea.

    Brexit, for once some facts.

    # Our net contribution to the EU in 2016 is also about 8.5bn I only did a quick adding up. The figure may have been a bit lower, £250-300bn.

we still have 15 x 26" wheels with XF08C CST motors in stock! The price is £499 for XF CST (with cassette free hub) I should have checked. Sorry.

To convert or to buy new..

it's now even easier to fit a hub kit with a left side pedal sensor. No occasional need for a mallet to undo the bottom bracket. 1) Take the old wheel out, put the new wheel in. 2) Pull the left crank out, drop the pedal sensor in. Bolt the crank back. Installation of the battery, LCD, brake...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

We pay in more than we get out. Over the last 40 years, it is estimated that our net contribution to the EU's budget is about 350-400bn. plus loss of control. that upsets some.

    Freewheel removal tool

you only need a cheapo £2 freewheel removal tool and an adjustable spanner for the Shimano TZ21. You can pay more for a proper Park Tool job but there is really no need. This one costs 99p...

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

BE, the SWX02 kit uses the same components we put in the Woosh Sport bike. I know for sure that the performance of the Bafang SWX02 coupled with an 18A Lishui HL1260 sine wave controller is on the par with a BBS01 18A 350W kit. Since we fit the left side PAS to the Sport bike, the installation...

    Brexit, for once some facts.

Brexit A50 day is 29th March. TBH, I would like us to stay within the EU Customs Union - going out in the big wide world without much industrial USPs is a bit risky.

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

The SWX02 kit with the left side PAS costs £529 with 13AH HL battery, £589 with 15AH HL battery. The 13AH gives you about 35-40 mile range, a bit more if you pedal a lot. The 50AH battery gives about 45-50 mile range. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#swx02kit It looks like this: This one...

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

Don't worry about installation. The kit is easier to fit than the BBS01 and require no special tools, only a £2 crank puller will be needed to fit the left side pedal sensor: http://www.ebay.co.uk/itm/Bicycle-Crank-Puller-Remover-Extractor-Pedal-Tool-For-Mountain-Bike-Cycle/371749229376

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

No. Don't worry about it. It's most likely that you don't have to do anything but Jim @ Woosh can always assist you to centre your wheel to the frame. The main difference compared to your cassette at present is the number of teeth on the smallest cog. Yours has 11 teeth, the one I linked to has...

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

that's true, but the 8-speed freewheel costs only £14. That's cheaper than the spokes alone. The SWX02 has better torque than XF08C. https://www.parkersofbolton.co.uk/products/13-28-8-speed-shimano-compatible-freewheel

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

I agree. The XF08C kit uses the same HL1260 18A controller* so power is not a problem, except I don't have them in 26" rims at the moment, only 700C rims. *All other components except motor wheel are also same.

Woosh MTB conversion rear gears question

I can't make out the model of the rear cogs but they look like an 8-speed cassette. The tyre looks like 26". My suggestion is an SWX02 kit. If you go ahead, ask for a left side pedal sensor because you have triple chainings. http://wooshbikes.co.uk/?hubkits#swx02kit You will also need a new...
