Get mugged you mean ? That one of the issues I guess, the T-Line Brompton does look real expensive, and light so easy to run off with, even folded. Whereas my current (20 year old) one does look a bit battered and aged.

Thanks, I will await it appearing on the Website. I do like to think ahead and find my Swytchified Brompton so handy, that I would like a spare setup, and battery, ready to hand. Another Swytch setup is maybe not the way to go, given the fold issues with that setup. And I keep hoping someone...

For sure you dont want to overchage a battery. But if the charger has a cut-off voltage of 4.2v say, it cuts off charge when the batteries reach that point. So how would leaving the charger connected cause overcharge, if you continue to apply charge after the 4.2V point, the battery voltage...

Really ? Failures in a lot of electronics stuff is often due to the physical stress when things switch on an heat up or switch off and cool down etc. Something that has warmed up and is temperature stable, like a charger thats been on for a while is not that likely to fail. Electronic stuff...

I doubt they do, but then its highly likely that stuff like mobile phones, has had carefull control in manufacture and or repair, and its only a single cell. With eBike batteries, that have a great many cells, who knows what controls went into their build ?

When the tracker is phoning home then I guess the scanner would pick it up. How often does the tracker phone home, when not in alarm mode ?

Unless the tracker is in alarm mode, as in actually transmitting an alert, there is not much for a scanner to detect, depends on the scanner I suppose.
