    "Electric, That's Cheating!"

If anyone tells me I'm cheating whilst riding my steed, I promptly dismount, walk up to them in a calm fashion, and beat them repeatedly around the head with my battery until they collapse in a life-less heap on the road. I then lower my bottom onto their face and break wind in their face. That...

    Ezee battery question

Why would it be in the dark? When my ford Sierra kept blowing fuses in the 80's I fixed it with a paperclip inbetween the fuse contacts. Worked a treat.

    What is Primary Safety?

    What is Primary Safety?

No you're not, looks like I'm completely out of date and wrong on this one. They used to be illegal. But not now by the looks of it. I light my bike up like a xmas tree. As tesco say, every little helps. :D

Warning to Wisper 905SE owners - Design Flaw

    The Best Electric Bike????

Ok so here's a little game to play, if you're not all too busy arguing about helmets, lights, what to wear, bike names, zip ties and what car each other drives....:D I've listed what I can think of as the most popular E-bikes. Now some aren't on here, I know, but these are (as far as I can...

    Boil In The Bag

Cheap ponchos and waterproof jackets won't help atall. Probably make it worse. You need good quality breathable gear. Try wearing a base layer underneath (Approx £10-15), this will wick away sweat as it forms on you, keeping your temperature normal and you dry. Then if its windy or cold a thin...

    What is Primary Safety?

Are you actually saying that you are genuinely SURPRISED that motorists give you more room when you have lights fitted? Who'd have thought eh......One possibility, now I may be being a bit radical here......is that they can see you better? Just a thought. Oh and for the record the...

Warning to Wisper 905SE owners - Design Flaw

Zip tie the cable? Also what's supposed to me in the hole next to it? Possibly a cable guide? Have you checked that something hasn't fallen out in the box?

    What is Primary Safety?

Hmmmmm I like the hoody theory, but I much prefer to drive straight at them, after all, they should be wearing pedestrian helmets......:p :D :p seriously though I might give the avoiding eye contact a go tomorrow.......I can see your logic

    What is Primary Safety?

Flecc I shall now refer to you as super-flecc, as you are clearly that much better than everyone else at riding that you will never have an accident :p This is just like what came first, the chicken or the egg? I mean ok, its obviously better to not have an accident(incident, whatever you...

    What is Primary Safety?

The roads are full of morons these days. Primary safety is simple in my view. There are 3 factors each as important as the other. 1-Be seen, hi vis clothing, lighting etc. I'm always amazed at how many people I see out on bikes in dark clothing with no lights. Or a rear light obscured by a...

    Powered pedal cycle in collision

Oh this thread just gets better. So basically, thread starts about an unfortunate cyclist who has an accident. A member asks if she was wearing a helmet Another member goes off on one about how wearing a helmet makes you more likely to have an accident A couple of others put the point...

    Powered pedal cycle in collision

I completely agree. Before this thread turns into a debate, remebering what is originally supposed to be about, I do feel the need to defend what I originally said. I am not preaching to anyone here who won't wear a helmet, you're entitled to your own opinions, as am I. But it saddens me that on...

    Powered pedal cycle in collision

Rooel have you ever been knocked off your bike? I can't believe that in this day and age someone can actually try and persuade people to not wear protective equiptment. I see what you're saying, a helmet isn't a guarantee that you won't get injured, but it's better safe than sorry in my books. I...

    Powered pedal cycle in collision

Hi Intex, I'm new here so not sure what's been said on old threads, so I apologise if this has been covered before, but I can definately assure you wearing one helps. I think wearing one helps a great deal, having been knocked off myself, and witnessed 2 accidents where the helmet wearer managed...
