Te elctric bike shop couldn't do it, now my engineering neighbour is very excited about doing it and he gets a couplke of bottles of wine and a free basttery for his efforts.

My local bike shop doesn't do electric bikes so I will have to go further afield. I hvae soldered electrical connectors to wire, but 95% of them fell off immedialtely!

They reckon it will but even if it did the connectors are different. Coming out of the battery holder currently is one twin pinned connector but coming out of the new battery are 2 cables with seperate connectors.

Cyclotricity have supplied me with a replacement battery for my Stealth 1000 but unfortunately they don't do the same shape battery any more. They assure me the new battery will fit but I can't see any way this can be. What do you reckon?

Can anyone give me a spec to use to find a battery for this bike? I'm sure there must be cheaper ones than the manufacturers. On a forum somewhere I read it was a Dolphin type battery. I bought a 20 Ah Dolphin typer battery but as I expected it didnt fit. Thanks

Wondering if the batteries have improved/got cheaper/have more capacity since I got mine 4 years ago? Is tyhere anywhere you can buy them (more cheapy) than Cyclotricity?

I have no idea I didn't know there were different types how do I tell?

2 things. Firstly has anyone got the instructions of how to switch power modes? ...and secondly whats the largest capacity battery that will fit the Stealth and where cheapest to get it?

Can anyone recommend where to get a more powerful battery for the Stealth? Whats the best avalable?

I have 2 batteries and I alternate them. I don't do more than 5 miles per week. Both batteries do same thing.

RE the Schwalbe Marathon Plus Bike Tyre you recommend. The Stealth wheel size is 26 x 2.2 according to Stealth but I can only see 26 x 2.1 in the Schwalbe Marathon Plus Bike Tyres. Would those fit?

The bike shop say they cant get to the bearings for the motor and aren't able to remove the motor. They sell many e bikes but jobs like that go back to the manufacturer.

I cycled it to the bike shop btw (where it still is) and never noticed anything wrong with it, the bike shop noticed the play in the axle that's when it led to getting the Electric Bike Company and Cyclotricity involved.

I have no idea what a hall sensor or mosfet is. I am not practical. If the local bike shop, the supplier and the manufacturer say they cant fix it there's not much hope for me.

This is the advice from the supplier and cyclotricity. I have probably used it 40 miles offroad in total and 10 miles per week on road fro 18 months (and that could be much less). QWarranty out at 12 months. New motor £200. Pretty gutted. Wondering about trade in against another more suitable...

Well currently I'm disappointed as a planned cycletour has had to be cancelled as it doesn't seem possible to fit large panniers or a rear rack that attaches to the frame. No one seems to know , cyclotricty don't reply.

I have the stealth but haven't paid much attention to the LCD yet. Isn't it in the manual then?
