    Tires recommendations please

Dmr motos work pretty well for light gravel. I normally run Schwalbe Big Apples, but use more gravel paths at the mo, so the DMR are a perfect.

Hope that someone can suggest what I can do ....

So, that is not a lead acid battery, but an older style lithium. I assume the electronics pictured here is the BMS (part of the battery that manages the cells) What we really need to help you are pics of the bike. We have no idea where the controller is either, but I'm pretty sure there will...

    Torque Arm

Depends on lots of things. I have plenty of bikes with no torque arm, and 1000s miles, no probs. Power/material/dropout size/quality of fit.... All considerations Tell us more....

    Battery Choice.

There's no reason why that won't work with a 15a controller. If it were too small it would probably cut out on low voltage, so you'd know about it. I assume its has 40 cells, in a 10s4p configuration? (ie, about 2k in weight)

holes to fit disc rotor on 500w kit too spaced out

Also, I note that it has a thread in the the middle, which is also unusual (in the UK. Do you need a threaded one?

holes to fit disc rotor on 500w kit too spaced out

That disk an unusual size. All the ones I've ever had are around 44 mm across, which is what I guess you need. Tektro, Avid.....

Yeah, pics of everything will be very helpful. Agree with Flecc, does not sound like SLA's in the original battery.

    Kona Africabike Conversion

This is how it ended up, with a custom made wooden seat on the back, and foot pegs. He went to school like this for years.

    Kona Africabike Conversion

Hi MaddBike, If yours is the same as mine you need a 26" front wheel kit, as the rear wheel has a 3 speed hub setup. I don't think a CD kit will work either, as not a standard bottom bracket. The rack on the back is very sturdy, as its part of the fram, so a good position to mount a battery...

"Sorry, he has a problem with his eyes!" says the passenger.

My point is that the driver of the car is many things. He's a dangerous tw8t, a selfish r's hole and total wakner. SW brings race into argument, which is totally irrelevant. That's exactly what racism is. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

I'm quite surprised that you are able to identify the drivers precise ethnic origin to such a degree. From the video I saw I could only identify him/her as a bad driver. Racism/ignorance again. Defend it any way you like, there's no excuse to drop the 'P' bomb on a public forum. (For the...

A wise man once said that racism is always born out of ignorance. Here's a classic example. (Someone else can explain what I'm saying to SW, I haven't the patience) Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

Choosing a bike for a tall guy (over 6')

It's not as hard as you would think, and there are peeps on here who will help, or even do the job for you. If you have to pay, £100 seems to be the going rate. Prob still within budget. Sent from my HTC 10 using Tapatalk

Choosing a bike for a tall guy (over 6')

I'm only 6ft, but because I have truly enormous feet I'm effectively 6"3. I'm most comfortable on a 22/23" mountain bike. So I understand the problem. While I'm sure there are companies that make them that big they are few and far between. For this reason, I think it best to find a non powered...

    Chain slip

Sorry, a bit late to this thread. When I ran a fairly high speed motor on my bike I found the I spent most of my time on the smallest/second smallest sprocket. Since these have only 11/14 teeth they wear a lot quicker than the bigger ones, go around many more times and slip more readily. I...
