Hi Everyone

I wanted to let you all know that I have setup an online E-Bike parts store, based in the UK, with UK stock, selling various interesting E-Bike products.

Check out the website ---> Rebellion.Bike

I have got the likes of the following products in stock:

I will be increasing the range as time goes on. If you have any queries drop me a line on here or via the website contact page. The operation is a 1-man-band , but I have a lot of passion and a lot of drive to move things forwards. I know users of this forum have that too :)

Cheers! Tom

Problem is off road kits are pretty much illegal everywhere in the UK , there isn't much of the UK where one can ride that doesn't have public access.

I have a 28 inch wheel, on the website the nearest wheel size you have is 29 inch. The specs didn't mention the drop out size. Mine being 13.5 cm. Looking at my bike 29 inch would be a very tight fit.

That's a very complicated way to test the hall sensors. It was fine for him because he needed to dismantle the motor to replace the damaged cable, but for a normal test, you don't even have to take the wheel out of the frame because you can test through the motor cable. Don't forget that a normal geared motor has a clutch, so you have to turn the wheel backwards to see the switching.

One thing that he said/showed that isn't right. He said that the hall is good if it goes up by a few milivolts, but showed around 1.6v, then showed the next one switching to about 2v. Both those halls are not OK. They should switch to the full 5v, assuming that his 5v power supply maintained its level. It's possible that his power supply was insufficient, so the voltage dropped when the hall switched. He could have confirmed that by measuring the input voltage while it was switched.
