dear all, have you had a look at the 2014 extraenergy awards? http://extraenergy.org/main.php?language=en&category=&subcateg=&id=57222
all the winning pedelecs seem to have their batteries located under rear racks? that seems odd to me, I have a Santa Ana and a kalkhoff Tasman. I'm quite happy with both (within the limits of what each is and, more to the point, costs), but I wouldn't have said the santa ana's battery arrangement (under the rear rack horizontally and much higher) is at all better than the lower centre of gravity easier to remove, no-space-taken-on-a-rack that can so be used more easily vertical under the seat set-up of the kalkhoff. what are your thoughts?
