I bought this bike to commute with in August 2014, I used it a few times that year and a few times in 2015, I have only covered 459 miles from new. It is only 18 months old. It has the latest drive and battery system giving exceptional performance, the battery has been charged and stored indoors during winter months with no noticeable loss of charge during these times. These are generally regarded as the best Electric bikes on the market. The quality of build and all components is superb. Shimano Alfine 8 speed in hub gears and hydraulic brakes, dynamo powered front and rear lights, plus a good quality rear rack for paniers etc.
The tope tube is approx 55cm across the tope from the seat post to the head tube. The seat tube measures 55cm also from the centre of the crank to the top of the seat tube. I would say these frames sound smaller than they are, the bike is a perfect fit for me 6'1 and a 1/2" tall and usually have a 58 to 60cm frame (racing bike sizing).
