24V Motor Test

Hello all
I have recent acquired this 24V 200w e bike wheel Bafang wheel however no other associated e bike apparatus
Is there any way to test the wheel to see if it works?
It has a 3 pin connector as pictured

You need to test each pair of the three pins separately, so three tests. Hold the axle in a vice or bike frame. Connect a voltmeter to any pair of pins. Set it to measure volts A/C, not D/C. Spin the wheel BACKWARDS. You should see some volts come on the meter, showing that the motor works as a generator. Repeat for the other two pairs. If the motor generates on all three pairs, it'll work.

You will need a controller for sensorless motors or a dual mode one.
