Take a positive feed through a 15A fuse, to a handlebar pushbutton, down to the horn and the neg from the horn back to the battery neg.
Pay careful attention to proper insulation and keeping the wires tidy - you don't want shorts.

If you remember, can you weigh it before you install it and let us know how it works ?

Where are you planning on mounting the horn itself ? I'm probably getting a handlebar light switch that comes with a momentary switch horn/kill button built in and was thinking it would likely be redundant ... until now ;)

Take it from before the controller, as after the controller would be for the motor, so no use for this.
I'd tap off from between the battery/controller and insert a small 2-way or 3-way fuse block which will make it easy to run future electrical extensions from. This fuse block can be mounted next to the controller, depending on what arrangements you have and how waterproof they are.

Excellent. I would suggest a protective wrapping around the wiring, as you put it on. Either Spirap or simple sleeving, but Spirap is brilliant stuff for this.

Be very grateful for a bit of help wiring this horn up to my particular switch / power rig.

Switch has 2 wires relating to the momentary switch (usually used as a kill switch) as follows :

BLACK - Kill switch power

WHITE - Kill switch ground

The rest of the coloured wires are for power in and power out to lights - nothing to do with the horn/kill button.

I received this advice when enquiring about using it with horn from the supplier's techincal guy :

"The push button will work the horn fine. It's usually used as a switched earth/common with the 2nd horn terminal having a permanent live feed."

Don't understand what that means in the context of my bike battery rig tbh !

I think the installation instructions relate to use on a motorbike as a kill switch and read as follows :

"Remove old kill switch and splice to those wires. Otherwise, tap black wire into power wire running between the CDI and ignition coil and hook white wire to frame ground (or negative terminal on battery)".

The horn has has 2 terminals on it but neither is marked as to whether +ve or 0V. Like so, - those are just female Lucar connectors slotted on the pins :

Can I take it this means it doesn't matter which is used for live feed and which for 0V ?

If I understand the guidance "It's usually used as a switched earth/common with the 2nd horn terminal having a permanent live feed" correctly, I am thinking that I'm supposed to do as follows :

1) run a wire direct from +ve battery feed to one of the horn terminals (by-passing the switch)

2) run a wire from the other 0v horn terminal to switch WHITE

3) run a wire from switch BLACK to BUSbar terminal block (which is in turn hooked to battery -ve)

.... but would be grateful if someone who understand these things better could confirm or advise how to do it.

Many thanks. :)
