BTW I wouldn't put too much effort into the ice cream outside schools idea as I think you'll get banned immediately. Schools do not want distractions at the pickup/drop-off points/times for safety reasons.

Interesting project in the right place.
Now you are in my area of Experience Street Trading , most ice cream vans operate without street trading license or they are allowed to stop for a short while .

You would not believe the amount of money that councils have spent trying to stop people from using Peddler's certificates “ The London Local Authority’s act for instance )

I actually started off all the whistle a]sales at the Notting Hill Carnival back in the 1980s I was watching Rio Carnival and got the idear from there I sold 10,000 at £1.00 each on my own retail cost 0.8p plus a bit of
ribbon.

No rent , no tax , no VAT and no cards just freedom and a few beers and a spliff at work .

Only fools and horses lol

I will look into this so is it the BMS in the battery that stops the input current once full not the charger ?
Physics stops the current because the battery cannot rise to a voltage higher than the input.

So it is essential that the 'charger', in this case the solar charge controller, is set to, or designed to supply, the correct fully charged voltage.

The BMS looks after balancing the cell groups, and should prevent the use of a 'wrong voltage' charger, but that is the 'last resort' safety defence and should not be relied on.

Thanks Mathew .

We may start a new project at the end of this year with an Ice cream bike small and light to get into spots not suitable for vans

Plenty of ice cream trikes on ebay; I don't think they are that small and light though.

Yes been looking at some and some different cargo bikes , difficult market to get into when we had the food open we tried to get Vegan into some events but the rent was to high for the demand .

The organisers want alternative foods but treat them the same as hot dogs , dairy ice cream , and sugar when it comes to pitch fees it does not work out .

I hope to get an e bike stall out Next season at local events and fairs .
