The LCD3 is the best one, then the LCD1. The LED ones are no good because you can't change any parameters.
it's all ordered, I don't expect the sensual whirring torque assistance of a kalkhoff, but it will be almighty interesting to see how it compares. have you compared it to say a kalkhoff impulse 2 in terms of the experience of using it? I note BMS battery say that it increases power rather than speed, is that you experience?

It'll trounce a Kalkhoff Impulse. If you have a rear motor, noise is about the same.

Give us a summary again of the complete kit so that we can give a comparison. Is it:
12S lipos
S12S
LCD3

Id so, expect oodles of smooth torque. I think you'll need to use current control (torque simulation) to get the best effect.

many thanks, it's a BPM2 with 12S lipos, an S12S controller and LCD3 as you say. Perhaps the best thing to do is to get it all together and see what its like, the torque simulation sounds great

Sounds familiar _ I ordered zackly the same bits for my offroad bouncer.
Hopefully, the 201rpm I ordered will give fistfulls of grunt at fairly low speeds in the 26" wheel.

It'd be interesting to compare notes once we're riding.

will be good to compare, I had dilemmas about which rpm, happily I think the hubs alone may be cheapish, hopefully yours is further than mine (I'm away for two weeks )
