We have some Bafang 8 Fun crank drive kits and have put one on to a Muddy Fox Rascal, as in the photo. Be interested to know what you think of the look.
We have a few things to sort out still - brake sensor and throttle, and we're not quite there yet with the battery mounting kit. The standard bottle fitting is too low for mounting the bottle battery but the fitting could of course be adapted.
So the project is interesting and so far pretty good.
If anyone wants our prototype Muddy Fox let me know. Would be willing to sell it at cost but sold as seen. Rides really nicely - full suspension and hydraulic brakes and has only done a few demo miles.
Also, if anyone would like to buy just the 8-Fun crank drive kit, please PM me, price £330 without battery, with chainguard and pedals but not brake sensors or throttle. Can't really sell with battery til mounting sorted.
