Hi, I am fairly new to the forum and to electric bikes so please go easy on me.
I have just fitted the 8Fun hub motor to my mountain bike and am very happy with it.
I am now thinking of fitting the 8Fun crank drive to my cargo bike. My question is will it work with a back pedal hub brake?

They make a special version for back-pedal brakes, but I don't know anybody that sells it, and I don't know which Chinese supplier that I'd trust to understand which one you want and then send the right version.

Sounds like the siplest way might be to fit a front electric hub, assuming V or disc brakes at front.

I would still need to weld some mounts on the front forks as the front is a coaster brake. I think I shall just convert front and rear brakes to V-brakes and then decide what system to go for, or does anyone know of a system that works with back pedal brakes but doesn't cost a fortune?
