50cycles have a Kalkhoff Groove F7 for what appears a very low price for the brand...

28" wheels, 36V, 9AH, Nexus 7 speed hub, hydraulic forks.

What are your thoughts??

Depends on how hilly your area is and your weight and fitness Mrke, since it's front hub motor will not have the ultimate hill climbing performance of their crank drive systems. In the same vein, the Shimano 7 speed gear hub is not up to the standard of their 8 speed ones, so it's in those two things and the moderate battery capacity that much of the cost saving has been achieved.

If you aren't facing tough hills, your weight is not very high, fitness average and a range of perhaps 25 miles or possibly a bit more are ok, it could be very suitable. This is a good quality choice, there are other e-bikes which might offer better value though perhaps not be of the same quality though perfectly satisfactory.

Not really thinking of it as a purchase I don't think flecc, was just very suprised at the price for the Kalkhoff brand.

Anyway, it might suit someone looking for a quality marque??
