Spent a little time looking at bikes today as I am in the market for one for myself rather than riding my wifes.

Looked at the A2B Metro I don't mean to upset anyone but how heavy! I never got an offer of a test ride but just trying to move the thing in the shop was hard.

Am I over reacting does the weight add to its road holding and feel?

I know! looking at either a kit for my trek or a lifecycle mountain sport, as happy with the build of my wires lifecycle traveller. However some of the cheaper bikes - provider c£600 look very interesting for the money and at 20kgs not too bad.

Hi,

The weight is 37KG. I find the weight adds to the stability and presence on the road. However, its not the sort of bike you can lift onto a bike rack on the car! If you don't have to carry it any distance then you should be fine.

I recommend you have a test ride before making any decisions

Thanks
Mark
