Adding throttle to peddle assist bike

Hi, I'm new. I own a rockrider E-ST 520 peddle assist mountain bike. I'm wondering if anyone has successfully added a throttle to one of these or know if it's even possible? Thanks.

There is no simple way to replace the output of a torque sensor.

You'd need a degree in electronics and a good toolset to hack into the motor. For nearly everyone, it's a no go.

There's probably a way of reprogramming the firmware. For that, you need a copy of the revised firmware and the programming system.
