Hi - we're looking to purchase our 2nd e-bike but but wanted something a little different to our Kalkoff. Ideally we would alike a step through that all family members could use and having a throttle is highly desirable. We've seen a few people with MATE city bikes with throttle power around our local common and they seemed incredibly happy with them. Any thoughts on these particular ebikes or anything else comparable or better? Many thanks, h

consider the current shortage of bikes, you may have to decide well before actually receiving the bike.
Most UK based manufacturers like ourselves have to operate a queue for building slots. We may have the bike you want in stock but can't deliver for 3 weeks or even more because other people are still waiting for theirs to be assembled and shipped.
Some models are in the pipeline, in some containers at sea and will arrive in a month. Astute customers will reserve their building slot now to save time.
There may also another consideration: price increase.
Record government borrowings in April has caused the value of the Pound slip by about 5% since beginning of May. The cost of imported goods has consequently gone up. Expect it to be passed on to customers from June onward.
