Advice please on replacing front wheel - Neo Cross

Hi

I hit a grassed-over kerb when rejoining a cycle path and my front wheel now looks like one that people used to put on their walls in the 80s. And my elbow looks worse!

My bike is a 2012 Neo Cross with hydraulic brakes. The disc has been knocked out of true too.

The wheel itself is an Alex Rims DM18 ETRTO 622x18 6061H-T6

It's beyond repair, so can anyone give me some advice on what to replace it with please? Should I get a like-for-like or is their a better option?

Sorry to be a bit pathetic but I haven't bought a new wheel for 30 years and the choice is overwhelming.

Have a look on Ebay. There's loads there. Any normal disc brake wheel of the correct size will work, but you want one that looks similar to your rear for aesthetics.

there definitely seems to be a build problem with the wheels on the neo - the alex rims are ok, but i don't think the truing process is good on the builds

I just replaced a rear wheel with one of Raleigh's Tru-build wheels, it's a good strong wheel and still running true for a very reasonable cost at a local bike shop.
maybe worth a look to see if it would suit.
