I have recently acquired a new 36v controller complete with S866 lcd.

The controller wires all appear to mate up correctly except the throttle. I attach a photo to help demonstrate what I am writing. The plug on the right comes from the throttle and has red, black and white wires. The plug on the left comes from the controller and has red, black and white wires. The issue I have is that they are different sized plugs..........can I adapt the wires from one of the plugs to fit into the other?

Many thanks in anticipation for all offers of help and assistance.

Cut the connectors off and join the wires directly colour to colour. You don't need connectors. Wiring directly is quicker, easier, cheaper and more reliable. Don't make things more complicated than they need to be.

If you really need connectors get some 3 way wago's but other wise simply do as mentioned and solder direct with a bit of heat shrink to insulate each joint.
