Thanks for the heads-up – one can always find room for another plastic box of gadgets ;)

Out of curiosity, does anyone else find (as I do) with all these kits their shine is short lived? Usually, after about 12 months I’ve either lost or broke about a quarter of the bits and bobs, the plastic hinge is splitting or split and the bits fall out from their once tight fitting slots – or is it just me

no its not just you, with hindsight i would never have bought any cheap things whether its tools, clothes, shoes ect as they are not cheap as they break, wear out, crappy quality ect and you just buy another to replace them in a short time instead of quality that lasts...i must have had a dozen sets of bike lights when i was young as an example..

No, it's me too. Also those tool kits with bits that plug into screwdriver type handles are no good for many jobs. The plug in section is often too thick to go into deeply recessed holes to reach bolt heads.

I must confess that I find it quite bizarre what you can buy in a supermarket these days. Cheap screwdrivers OK, but what is your average housewife going to do with 382 'O'rings:confused:
Don't answer that one Keith;)
