I got one of the aldi power packs for £9.99 - recharges my ipda and iphone twice before it requires charging. Handy when you forget to charge your phone and your not sat near a 240v socket.

I also have a couple of micro/mini usb leads so I can charge my phone/lights etc from my bike...:)

I have spent substantially more for branded lights in the past and they did fail outside the 12 month warranty plus replacement parts were not available to purchase. I won't be doing that again.

I intend to use it as a day time light on road, so I do not believe it to be too bright. I will not be riding off road at night. If it fails at daytime I am back to no light but hey it is daytime!

If it does fail inside 3 years, yes I get my money back - what is wrong with that?

I can cycle to Aldi so there is no expense, just a good excuse to get the bike out.

Your reasoning/opinion is not the only valid one out there..
If it fails within a year you'll probably be offered a refund, but if it fails in year 2 or 3 Aldi will likely tell you they'll send it back to their supplier to be repaired or replaced.
I had this with a personal DVD player i once bought from them.

The only downside of plugging into the intuvia display is that eventually it goes rusty and stops working. Perhaps a new cable may fix this but it does need an eye keeping on it if you use this feature.

I suffer with irritable phone syndrome.
