Following Talk Talk taking over the Tiscali/Tinyworld ISPs, the webspaces are being shifted and there's a major reorganisation taking place.

After first indicating 4th September, they hope to have the job completed on the 18th September now, though it's still possible that there will be a change of the URLs. I'll advise later if necessary.

Puzzled Eddie?

There's quite a following on my Panasonic unit, Lafree and Torq-Talk websites around the world, especially the Panasonic one since so many makes now use this unit, so I'm currently getting lots of emails about no access. This thread will reach some but more importantly, just replying with the link will save me mailing loads of individually typed replies.

There was / still is, information regarding badgers on Flecc's pages. If you are interested in wildlife, you will enjoy reading those too.

Different webspace Tillson, on Zen. Strictly speaking that isn't a website since it's on a web development space which that different ISP says must not be used for a website. I've left it there for family and friends.

I'd be happy to pay for space for the e-bike websites, but the attraction of the existing Tinyworld spaces is that they are not only free but as private space also free of cookies, spyware etc.

If I buy hosted space all visitors will get the usual bombardment of spyware cookies which I'm sure all of us hate.

I didn't realise the Badgers were on a different server. I remember you posting a link to it on here a while back and enjoyed reading it.

I have found the post here , but the link to the page seems to be dead.

That was a Tiscali site as well Tillson, hence it also being dead. I won't give out the Zen one referred to since they are my broadband supplier and I don't want to get a sudden input to that development space and upset them.

I don't use Tiscali or Talk Talk, just their free space(!), but that's another story. :)

We have our own web server which you are more than welcome to use? You'd have to use new domains though and set up a redirect.

Thanks for the generous offer Russ. I have already been offered free hosting by an e-bike user, but I naturally want to retain my existing URLs if possible.

There are many all round the world who depend on them including dealers and importers, and the links are on a number of commercial websites and directories. Also there's the attraction of cookie-free private unhosted space.

The amount of the spaces involved is tiny, 2 x 50 mB and 1 x 10 mB, none of them anywhere near half filled, so a total of 50 mB would be plenty.
