Bit the bullet and changed my Woods/Dunlop inner tubes for Schwalbe tubes with Schrader valves. Removing the Agattu back wheel not as hard as anticipated (the YouTube video helps a lot)
Anyway, do any of you torque up your wheel nuts? or is that me just being anal?:)

I just tighten using judgement. That Agattu rear spindle frame slot area has hefty proportions so stands a lot of tightening, unlike many bike frames.

I know the bike did not come with its wheel nuts torqued because they were all different when i checked them.
Alloy wheels on cars have to torqued because of a possibility of splitting, just wondered if it was usual on alloy framed bikes.
I have a torque wrench that applies the correct setting so its no problem.

Sounds a bit anul to me on a push bike...
The only time i've really torqued anything up was cylinder heads and adding new disk brakes on cars.

Most nuts / bolts have torque settings but you'd be there forever checking them.

Tighten - ride - re-tighten - done.
